July 29th Run – San Sebastian Trailhead

We will be running at 7am on the Seminole Wekiva Trail for 4 miles (headed north to the stop sign prior to Starbucks) – Please be ready to run at 7am.

After the run I will be speaking about Injury prevention and recovery.

Our season is over but 2017/2018 Registration will open at the end of April

What a great 2016/2017 season we had!  Even though our season is over we will still have some unofficial Saturday runs during the off season.  Keep a look out on Facebook, website, and email as to when and where these runs will be.

Registration will open towards the end of April for our 2017/2018 season.

Saturday- Dec. 31st – Long Run

This weekend is the training peak for the Celebration Full and Half marathons. After this week, everyone will be tapering (yay!).

The Disney full marathon group is doing 8 miles and the Disney half marathon group is doing 6 miles.

Saturday, October 22, 2016 – Long Run

The full marathon group is doing 12 miles and the half marathon group is doing 7 miles.

Routes:
All groups will head north. We are taking the bridge over I4! Look for the arrow sign at about 2 miles. Turn right to go over the bridge. Continue on the trail. Cross Rhinehart Road and turn right to head south on the trail.

Full Marathon: Take the Pedestrian Bridge over Lake Mary Blvd. Continue south. Just after you pass Lake Mary Blvd, cross Rhinehart Road again to continue south on the trail. Turn left on Green Way Blvd. Go approximately .15 miles to the sign (6 miles)

Half Marathon: turn around at the sign at Manderley Run. (3.5 miles).

The Coach Robb Energy Fuel jug and a small water jug will be at the intersection of Rhinehart and the Post Office. The larger water jug will be at Panera’s.

Half Marathon Group:
Head North on the trail.  The turn around sign will be appox at the 3mile point (before you turn left to go toward Sylvan Lake Park.) and head back to Panara.

Full Marathon Group:
Head North on the trail. The turn around sign will be appox at the 3 mile point (before you turn left to go toward Sylvan Lake Park.) On the return turn left at the water and Coach Robb Energy Fuel Jug (mile 2). Go over the I4 pedestrian bridge.  At Rhinehart turn right and continue till you cross over the Lake Mary pedestrian bridge. Turn around and return to the water jug/Coach Robb Energy Fuel jug. Turn left and return to Panara.

The Coach Robb Energy Fuel jug and a small water jug will be at mile 2. The larger water jug will be at Panera’s.

Wednesday, September 28,2016: Fleet Feet Pub Run

Septembers Pub Run is going to be fun filled! NATHAN will be joining us to help raise awareness on hydration, and safety gear. Nathan Performance will have product to demo for this run. Brooks Running will also be joining us and providing demo shoes for you guys to try out during the run portion. ALL runners/walkers that demo product during this event will receive an additional raffle ticket.

ALSO!! World of Beer – Altamonte Springs will be taking care of the first round of beer! FREE BEER, say what!! WOB will be providiing a buffet style of WOB food to all runners/walkers who join us for this event! We’re looking forward to this event and want to make it super fun for all of you. Feel free share this event with your friends.

Tuesday, September 27, 2016: Track Workout

We will be starting our Track workout this week on Tuesday Sept. 27th at 6:30pm.  We will meet at the Jones Trailhead which is located on Markham Woods Road and Long Pond Road. (approx. 1.3 miles South of Lake Mary Blvd).

DO NOT MISS THIS OPPORTUNITY!!!! Coach Robb will be leading us in our track workout and I know it will be GREAT so make sure you come ready for a wonderful workout!

Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016 Long Run

On Saturday, September 24th, we meet at the San Sebastian trailhead on Route 436 in Altamonte Springs. The full marathon group will be doing 10 miles. The half marathon group will also be doing 6 miles. Be sure you check the schedule below (or on the website) for your start times. Start times will be staggered so all pace groups, full or half, finish at about 8am. That gives you 10 minutes to stretch and rehydrate before our seminar.

Plan to arrive 5 to 10 minutes before your appointed time to meet with your coach to cover some training tips, warm-up, and discuss the day’s route. The water stop will be at the 3 mile mark.

Join the group Tuesday, at 6:30pm at the Rolling Hills Golf Club for some rolling hill repeats. We will meet in the parking lot of the clubhouse at the now defunct club. The GPS address is: 1749 Art Hagen Pl, Longwood, FL 32750.
